Our story started just about 88 years back. The Bulbulia family of Johannesburg is all time famous and well respected in the Footwear industry. The original store started out in the early 1900's in the well known suburbs of Vrededorp/Page View commonly know as 'Fietas'.
As time went by the famous Oriental Plaza was established. Rounded up by the security forces during the apartheid epoch, the Indian traders of the day were driven out of Page view’s 14th street to where Oriental Plaza is located presently.
Family Shoe Centre was one of the first stores in the Plaza since 1973 and currently still operating out of the Oriental Plaza 47 year later.
Family Shoe Centre prides themselves in service with a personal touch and a special focus on only quality footwear. Stocking some of the worlds best and well know brands. All their shoes are of the highest international standards.
